West Virginia nurses who earn their Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing are often preferred by employers to nurses who have not. This opens new doors for them in their career and typically allows them to earn more money. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that as of May 2013, registered nurses in the state of West Virginia earned an annual median salary of $55,240. Although this is slightly lower than the national average for this career, the continued increase in demand for nurses will likely translate to an increase in salary over the next several years.
